My research focuses on European international relations in the years 1890 to 1948, the histories of Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and the Baltic States in the late 19th and 20th centuries and all aspects of the history of World War I.  I teach courses in European history in the 20th century, the History of Eastern Europe and the origins and conclusions of wars since 1792. Students with inquiries in any of these areas should feel free to contact me for more information.
