Heather Parker
My dissertation research is focused on the economic, political, and social influences on the formation of marriage in late medieval Scotland. I am investigating the development of Scottish marriage contracts during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. This work is supervised by Dr Elizabeth Ewan.
More broadly, my interests lie in the examination of the key social bonds of medieval Scotland. My major field is Scottish history, and my minor fields are medieval history and early modern history. I can be contacted at parkerh@uoguelph.ca.
